The King Blue Oyster Mushroom Grow Kit from The Pendle Mushroom Company lets you explore the amazing fungi kingdom right at home.
 
The King Blue Oyster mushroom is a hybrid between two species of oyster mushrooms, providing a robust, meaty flavour. The King Blue grows larger and has thicker stems than most oyster mushrooms and as such produces large, weighty flushes, making it an excellent meat substitute in meals.
 
Our Grow-at-home bags all weigh approximatley 2.5Kg-3Kg  are made using the statdard "Master Mix" substrate which is a 50:50 combination of hardwood fuel pellets and Soya Hulls. 
These bags are inoculated with either Rye Berries or White Millet mycellium spawn.
All of our liquid mycellium cultures that are used in our proction bags are grown and expanded using Soy Peptone as opposed to beef/pork peptone, this ensures a 100% vegan friendly product all the way from it being a single cell walled culture upto and including the final fruits.
 
With this kit, you can expect to harvest 2-3 times over a period of several weeks, ensuring a steady supply of these nutritious mushrooms. Perfect for both beginners and seasoned mycologists.
